I have found a feature that I didn't know, when my iPhone is hooked up BlueTooth, and a call is made or comes in, the A/C turns itself down to the lowest fan speed. And when you are done, the fan speed goes back up. Has anyone noticed this? I thought my car was broken...

I think most makers are doing this now. My 2016 GMC did it when I had it and my 2017 Ford Raptor does it.

I also contacted the Lansing Michigan plant but only found out that ZL1s, CTS-Vs and ATS-Vs are all produced on the same assembly line. They wouldn't tell me anything about production runs or the impact of the recent layoffs there.

You're in Ottawa?
I was on wait list for several dealers here in Ottawa when I heard last year that eastern Canada received no allocation. Called multiple dealers in Toronto and got one of the 50! Think mine is the only one in Ottawa...

Do we have weights for the wheels, with/without tires? I could have sworn I saw them somewhere around here, but can't seem to find it again.

ZL1 not a great drag strip car

99.9% excellent car. But due to the torque control algorithm built into the computer, despite whatever drive mode you are in, it will never be a great drag car. This is because you can’t dump the clutch...if you have good traction the car pulls power to save the drivetrain. You can look at this as a double edged sword, but until tuners figure out how to tune out this “feature”, Buyer beware. If you don’t care/not going to drag race, you will love the car! This is another piece of factual info I did not see in Mr. Wyndham’s column, so throwing this in.
