Oh... Gotcha... that makes more sense. :D

That experience really drove home the point that if I drive, it should only be once in a blue moon that the engine never fully warms up because I couldn't help it. That means at least 15-20 minutes. I don't just rely on the coolant temperature, but oil too.

Today $2.99 for E85.

I use gas buddy. It saves up to .25/gal. Got 91 for 4.50/gal tonight.

Which is helpful because AZ only has 91, so I use 1/2 gal of xylene and 2 oz of MMT per 10 gal 91 to get to 93.

That adds .83/gal. ($5.33/gal for 93)

For the longest I was adding 1 gal of xylene per 10 and that ended up being an extra 1.30/gal. ($5.80/gal for 93)

I paid 5.19 yesterday. Gulf station. 92 or 93 octane.

Just heard on the radio that high diesel is put some long haul truckers out of business. Not making a profit after paying for gas. Will cause empty store shelves as products won't reach market, the ones that do will be high and unaffordable to many, especially food for lower income. I see a catastrophe in the making if this is not abated. Why TF won't the fool in the WH open up the effing gas spigots on the pipeline that he shutdown and renew the gas land leases!!? Why TF are we again dependent on foreign oil??

Yep, I know he did, but... that being said, I just said I'd sell them, I didn't say I'd buy an EV. ;)

There are a lot of vehicles in between an EV and a V8 muscle car or Tahoe. But... being totally honest. I wouldn't sell either. I can absorb the price of gas... I don't like it, but I can absorb it. I also do not drive far. I have a 2015 Impala bought new with 30k miles on it. I have an '18 Tahoe bought new with 31k miles on it. I have an '18 Harley with 7k miles on it and my Camaro. None of them see very many miles, so gas doesn't break me. (Thankfully!)

Same here. I can absorb the extra cost. I don't like it, but my wife's Accord is an option if it gets bad enough. We've started doing our weekend trips in my son's Mustang. I only burn a tank to two tanks a month anyway.

Around $4.79 for 93 here. Hopefully it comes down a little by the time I get through this tank I got in December. Guess I need to get out more:smiling1:

I feel the pain you have with the "Gas" problems. That being said Retirement is great. if I can get this rain to stop up here in Northwest Il. we be out burning the gas up. I just hope the working people can hold out till 2024 so we can get the world back on track. Open the oil pipes and let it flow to fill our reserves again. :faint:

I've been using E85 now that its warmer save a few bucks

But, still like $$4.30/gallon

I find for longevity driving normal/sane in Touring mode actually makes a big difference on gas mileage
