Thanks for the compliment CamaroRSOnt. Your's will be here soon. Stay patient my friend.

I have the ACS Rockers and Rock Guards. Some on this forum have stated they were not happy with the quality. My parts arrived 1 day early and were fine. In my opinion, ACS is top notch in terms of service and product.

The parts were easy to install but you do need to take your time because you will drill holes into your shiny brand new play toy. The rear ACS Rock Guards have pre-drilled holes that align with three screws in the wheel well. The front Rock Guards just need the holes drilled in the wheel well felt. All parts attach using the rivets which comes in packaging. I found a few videos that give good instructions on the installation.

Thanks !

I have some experience with installing these , my RS has the rockers from Extreme Online Store, they went on fine. I hear you, does make you a little nervous putting a drill to a brand new car.

This time I thought I would pay the extra and let GM do it all but apparently supply chain issues have put them on constraint, couldn't get the car built unless I removed that option. I should have the car late spring, I'm just 1.5 hrs from the Camaro plant so shipping isn't a big deal, just a truck ride.

The ACS rockers are a little bigger than the ones I have, like the look on your car. Here a pic of the EOS ones on mine... these are now 3 yrs old, don't drive the car in the winter, they have held up fine. I painted them to match the satin black splitter, spoiler and mirrors.

I had a very similiar red with my C7, ,looking forward to the Radiant Red coming...

Kinda wished you gave us a full shot of your RS. It looks sweet. Originally I had the GM Rockers on my order but when they went on constraint I had the dealer remove it from the order. The dealership was willing to install the ACS parts but want an additional $800 for what would have amounted to 45 minutes of work. Now, I'm glad I did it myself.

Great pics, I have a '22 Wild Cherry so any color like that rocks.

Did the dealer remove the front spring spacers from your car? It looks a little bit high up front.

I am likely going to get both my splitter and rockers from ACS (both were on constraint at GM). My RS has what looks like the current 1LE splitter near as I can tell it is the same shape etc., it is a satin black finish, ordered on the car. On the ACS page it is the 1LE V.2 splitter, shape wise it looks identical to mine and yours on your new car.

Yes that was the first thing I checked when I picked her up. They are in the glove box. Maybe the camera angle made it look that way.

a satin black or a flat black?

Full transparency: I'm not a convertible guy.

But dang I like that look! It has a such a clean vibe and the splitter and rockers accentuates the look and doesn't distract from the car. That is one beautiful ride you have.

I was a little nervous about the black satin paint matching. We all know how black can have many variations. When I talked to a guy at ACS he told me something interesting, after I told him what I was interested purchasing, he stated they are an OEM Supplier. He didn't say for what manufacturer. Looking back, I wonder if they aren't the OEM Supplier for Chevy because the fitment was very exact. The splitter and rockers matched perfectly.

I've seen many with them still in the springs, I always ask when they seem a little high.

Thanks, like the look of the RS I have but miss the V8. I had a C7 with that same V8 before this Camaro and thought it was a pain always putting in high test and I didn't push it that hard most of the time. Thought the V6 might be the answer. The V6 was nice, convenient gas wise, but there is nothing like a V8. My excuse to my wife for ordering a new car  Fact is with GM phasing out the Camaro's next year kinda hurried that decision along. This will be my 4th Camaro, always liked their styling. C7 was a little cramped so I passed on a C8.

I wondered about Advance Composites, their designs for the splitter look identical to GM's. My splitter looks identical to yours and their 1LE V2 matches both of them. Mine like yours came from the GM factory. No surprise they would supply GM.

I googled Advance Composites and they have been awarded as a top supplier to GM many times in the past. Guess it will be an easy decision to go with them for my new car's ground effects when it gets here.
