Anyone else notice the price shot up $100/tire after the RE71 was discontinued?

Glad I got mine in October!

Got 4 rt660’s in. 315/30/19. Tire Rack currently has a few in stock.

Any feedback on the Falken rt660s? I have read steering feel is exceptional, do you confirm ?
I had SC3R on 19'' 305 square last season but they did only 4 TD and I did not like the steering response. I had -2.7 deg camber and I felt it was hard to position the car in corner entry.(compared the stock SC3).
I am thinking to put the Falken up Font and keep the SC3R on the Rear because grip is phenomenal and not concerned about outer edger on rears. Cheers

I won’t be racing until at least March/April. There’s snow in the ground here.

My 1st AutoX event with them is next weekend. Followed by one every weekend through March, so I hope they don't suck.

Interested to see someone turn laps on a ZLE, hoping these are the solution for Nationals

I got a set of 275/305 coming from Strano for the 1LE - should have them in hand for our next event on the 13th!

275? Not OEM size?

Not running 305 all around for AutoX?

Correct, 19x10/11, just down 1". 305F is just too imprecise, way bigger than the wheel. Plus the car really does like a bit of diameter stagger (front shorter than rear).

I made my decision to buy them after watching Zack Barnes switch from Yoko A052 to RT660's and do really well in his C6Z. His feedback was that the RT660 had better feel and better feedback while having all of the grip. So to me that means these tires in the larger sizes on cars that can generate reasonable camber are at least equivalent in pace. Big win for me as I was getting a bit tired of clearly lacking BS winning pace on the SC3 or the RE71R. Hoping these work well for me since Yok doesn't make an A052 that fits within BS wheel sizes.
