WOW!!! I got all I wanted and more!!!

I can even live with the 1SS although I was really hoping for heated and cooled seats!

Why? If they're able to make it better than the last model and beat all the "it rides to rough" that the 5th gen got then its a smart move.

Soooo any love for the LTG? Don't pull a Ford, GM.

Why are you guys complaining about it being a 1ss and only manual? Its a track car, its supposed to be a no frills car! Leave the auto for the drag strippers, manuals are for real tracks! And it comes with the HUD and Recaros, the main reasons i didnt want a 1ss before was because i wanted premium seats and the HUD... This option looks awesome in every way! And im thrilled to see how the V6 performs. Comparing it to last gen's ss!? This is gonna be good!

Very interesting. Seems like this will be a killer factory track toy! Not disappointed that I didn't wait for it though, as I wanted the features from the 2SS.

I read on cnet that the V6 will be 355HP... was that a typo..?

Is the FE4 (1SS 1LE) suspension lower? FE4 specific MRC calibration?

Thank you for posting this as soon as you could!!!

Racing regulations in some series for one.

NASTY99Z28 02-09-2016 11:30 PM

And let's not forget they said its 3 SECONDS FASTER than a SS around a road course. That's f'ing HUGE!!!!! The gt350 is in serious trouble.

Probably because it has actual track benefits... doesn't seem like they cared much about giving us the most GT version of the 1LE in other areas.

Because like always, people constantly whine and moan about how GM no longer sells stripper cars and how they would totally buy a no-frills track car with crank windows and no A/C, but once GM actually does offer something along those lines, they whine and moan about how GM didn't throw in a coffee maker and Xbox.

NASTY99Z28 02-09-2016 11:33 PM

It's surprising how many guys want the "track" version of the camaro to have every option available and an automatic transmission. I think you may be missing the point.
