How did you get your build code?

Hi Scott... looks good man.
How are they working in the tax on the bill? My bad...can't see it

Rommel 02-14-2019 01:55 PM

I take it that's the 1le Scottyz?
Is there a chance they haven't added the tax in man?

Scottyz 02-14-2019 03:28 PM

The applicable tax is in there. Trust me.
Yes it’s a 1LE. I’m an adrenaline junky. Need it to stay on the ground.

How many ZL1s and ZL1 1LEs allocated to Canada this year? I started a tracking thread for the 2018's....it takes awhile from order to delivery....almost a year for mine !

19Nasty1le 02-14-2019 06:43 PM

It better not take a year for my 2019.. I was told Approx 275 ZL1's with less than 70 of those being 1LE's

Several others have mentioned to talk to your dealer which is absolutely the right way.
GM dealers, the sales staff, have access to "Work Bench" that tracks factory orders at every stage. My local dealer who had zero allocation went on W B and found a ZL1 stocking factory order and directed me to that dealer in Windsor Ont. which I bought.

Wouldn’t surprise me if my dealer doesn’t know how to get the code. They order cars. They didn’t know how to order a specialty car. But they learned.
And I must admit, they were awesome to deal with. Especially when they realized what they were ordering. Mind you dropping 60 grand as a down payment on a car is no chump change.
The girl I dealt with was awesome. As long as my car comes in......I’ll go to her for another new vehicle if I get another chance in my life. This is a dream come true for me so far.

My dealer checked and he came back with "the car has been accepted for production" when I asked him what the code was he wasn't sure and admitted hes never done this before but would give me my code tomorrow morning.

He mentioned that just this last week or so they have been accepting cars for production.

Wow. I frequent Toronto everyday. I have never seen a 6th Gen ZL1. And where I used to live all the cars going to Toronto Motorsports Park would drive down my road.
Surprised I haven’t seen any.
Fack I’ve seen Bugatti Veyrons. But not one ZL1. Go figure

There really aren't that many around. Besides my car I've only seen 2 others. 1ZL1 and1 ZLE. Can't wait for you to get your car. You will have a permanent grin! And you will get tons of looms and everyone will want to talk about your car. Enjoy!!

Mine told me it’s been accepted by GM as well but no mention of a code
