It looks exactly like the system the Stingray has. The black outline is where the top will be when its in the up position. The whole piece behind the rear seat back to the trunk lid opens up for the top. Look at the video I posted of the Stingray's top in action and you will see how it will work.

So it looks like it will have an automatic hard cover and no "water management" bag. That would be a huge improvement over the 5th gen!

Makes me want to trade up. :frown:

I would imagine there wouldn't be a need for one.

Remember this thread from a month ago.... It WAS a Convertible we were seeing.

I think the 'vert looks better than the coupe; mainly because its quarter window isn't all effed up like it is on the coupe.

Anyone else notice the fuel fill door?

I'm not a convertible guy but that looks awesome! Roof up or down, and there are few convertibles you can say that about.

I'd have to wear a hat with the roof down, or else my chrome dome will be burnt to a crisp!

Is there something we should be noticing about it? It's on the same side as on the hardtop.

Fuel fill location has been brought up quite a bit.

I said that because there were comments made that for the convertible it would need to be moved because of the folding hardware. And I disagreed.

Or drive on warm summer evenings...I always wear a cap when I am out in the daytime.
