Looking at Scroggs car on the same course, his turn in appears to be way better and less painful in steady state. Is that all due to the additional weight that we have on the front end? |

He has been consistently faster that you at all the events? Have you swapped cars to see the differences? |

Im not sure he would let me drive his car... lol Yeah it depends on the course. the closest ive been this year was .014. Some days like sunday he was .4 ahead of me all pulled out on his last run. Its been fun racing him though. Good benchmark. I did have a codriver on sunday who normally runs an M3 and he said that the camaro is a hard car to drive fast where as he felt his bmw was a lot easier. |

video from sundays event. Sorry about the bad camera angle on this one. Had a codriver this event and I felt the car was a little more inconsistent... event though my last 3 runs were all within hundredths of one another. |
Had an event this past weekend at El Toro with the OCR PCA folks. Best course to date since we were limited to 1 run way. Things were definitely tight until the concrete section.
Was able to test the stock Goodyear Asymmetric 3 against the Bridgestone RE-71R. After 4 runs on each tire, the time difference was about 3 seconds on an 80 second course. 83.3 versus 80.3. Balance of the car was very similar between the two tires but the car just had more available front grip with the RE-71R. After comparing a side by side of Nicole and I, there is definitely more time in the car for both of us as we are learning the car more. Hopefully we will learn more from each other and be ready by nationals of next year. Car is definitely fun but hard to extract everything. 10/15 Southern California - El Toro F-Street 2017 Camaro Goodyear Asymmetric 3 OCR PCA 10/15 Nicole [includes spin over the paint :)] F-Street 2017 Camaro Goodyear Asymmetric 3 OCR PCA 10/15 Jeff F-Street 2017 Camaro Bridgestone RE-71R OCR PCA 10/15 Nicole F-Street 2017 Camaro Bridgestone RE-71R OCR PCA 10/15 Jeff |
Looking good both of you!
It is hard to extract everything out of the car consistently compared to the M3. |

Video from today’s event. Jeff and I literally matched times exactly on our second to last run, a 55.750. He layed down a 55.4 on his last run and I layed down a 54.8... also with a cone! A dumb one at that lol. Still had a blast! |

1) You beat him (by OVER 1/2 a second) on raw time before year end ! ! ! :clap2: 2) You're now going to be in his head.....that could be good or bad Congratz again...... as that is great accomplishment to take into the offseason ! |
Awesome job! That would get me through a long winter.

Thanks, season is now over after today. Yesterday was good today was wet. Going into the off season now ready to make some new goals.
Here are some videos from todays event. It was rainy and pointless so in the second video I had some fun with different camera shots. Check them out. I ran pro class today since I was the only one from FS to show up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kS59...ature=youtu.be Random Camera angles on other runs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GbJ...ature=youtu.be |
