Mustang dyno add different loads such as wind drag and other road frictions and is usually more accurate to real road conditions. However, dyno's are a tool for seeing improvements and benefits of mods. I use dynojet not because it has higher numbers but because that is my baseline choice and location. Also I prefer the large drum vs. twin rollers to avoid pinch. dyno numbers are for show, and track times are for the dough!
And I am always up for a good race.

look at tjbusa numbers.. with only a CAI and exhaust.. and a canned tune.. not even a dyno tune.. stock LS3 numbers are like 350-360 whp ... he gained over 60 WHP with that setup come on dude ..

The exhaust is a full system and the tune was adjusted and saved to my predator, Mike its not so much the numbers but getting the fuel trims for cruise and WOT just right and you will get the most power out of what mods you have. Please, guys.... just post your dynos

You can never prove dyno results right or wrong, but for comparison and for piece of mind (yours and mine):

We ran both LS9s and LS3s on the very same dyno:
Diablo-Tune and a CAI -> 375rwhp (LS3) - 358rwhp (L99)
Stock L99 -> 340rwhp

Nice!! What altitude are you at? If at Phoenix AZ just over 1000ft, then add in the correction and you numbers will be right with my numbers as I am at sea level.

zcon 11-14-2010 02:52 PM

339 WHP on a mustang dyno, full bolt ons.

Yup Tempe AZ is where Loud Pedal Motorsports is located. I'm pretty happy with my #'s Realistic IMO...
