The Z with the wing is the one that crashed on the Nurburgring.

The one without the wing has slots on the top of the trunk where you can see the spoiler goes.

Nice to see some new pics. it seems like the Z/28 and ZR-1 are going through testing in parallel. I'll bet there are some overlapping parts between the two.

Those are both the type of car..it's not a ZL1 and a Z/28 (if that's what this car is).

I thought this got canceled.

Not sure what you mean. I was talking about the ZR-1 Corvette which has also had quite a bit of spy picks popping up the past few weeks. And now seeing some more Camaro Z/28 pics. Just interesting that spy pics are popping up of both of them lately. Makes me wonder if a new engine is in the cards and what other bits they might share.

3 strips of Black tape over spoiler mounting holes.
I am guessing a common deck lid using a bracket to mount the baloney slicer.

Still wondering why they have camo tape on different places on the grill.

Is it me, or does the rear wing look adjustable?

I think it would have to be.

Bhobbs 10-18-2016 03:16 PM

The wing looks very similar to the one on the Corvette prototypes running around recently. I wonder if these cars will have similar aero performance.

I'm loving it......this will be well worth the wait.....the anticipation is killer though!!!

Sorry, but these are ZL1's.....

They are based on the ZL1 fascia and hood, but the fascias are not the same. The outboard intakes are smaller to fit above the canards. There is a small trim around in the inside edge of the lower grille. The grille itself is a different design. The tires are much larger than the ZL1s. The ZL1 doesn't have the canards or massive wing.
