LaDainian Tomlinson officialy retired as a Charger yesterday. He had a brilliant career and for sure a Hall of Famer. It was great fun watching him play for San Diego. :headbang:

:sm0:Ha ha ha. So true. I don't think I was even alive when the skins had a winning "tradition" (1986?)

Anyone have any takes on how Luck will fare for Indy this year? I'm not expecting a complete turnaround, but a few more wins would be nice. Maybe 4 or 5?

last superbowl was Gibbs 1st tenure, 91....their best team ever assembled was the 83 team that held the record for most average points per game until the Vikings with Cunningham, moss, Carter group broke it.
The Skins were in their second straight superbowl,( remember the Riggins 4th & 1 TD gallop against the Fins the Superbowl before) ;) , however, they got upset by a Plunkett led Raiders team with the rookie Marcus Allen breaking the game open with a memorable change of direction run. :(

what the hell...

personally, i think Luck will have a mediocre season @ best :iono:

Yeah, I'm thinking the same for Luck. Give him a few years, and my Colts might be back to winning season. We have more holes to fill other than QB though.

I've seen and heard about those Skins days since my boss is a huge fan, but like I said, was barely alive when it was happening.

I'll be honest though, I kinda pull for them in that division. No matter how bad their team might be, they always seem to be able to give Dallas a run for their money, pull off some upsets too.

My step dad was a HUGE skins fan. I watched the '82 Superbowl routing for the 'fins. '83 comes around and I had to route for the Raiders.....I've been a Raiders fan ever since!

They had a few years of mis-management by the late AD, but it looks like things are starting to turn around. If McFadden can be half of the RB that Allen was, the Raiders will be fine.

Come on August 13th! I can't wait to hear "Touchdooooooowwwwnnnnn RRRRAAAAAIIIIIIDDDDDDDERRRRRRRRRSSSSSSS"
