I think there were like 10-15 sets sold from this forum alone with that RE71 sale.

I'm surprised they hadn't gone up before this. Raw materials costs have been climbing across all industries. At some point company can no longer absorb the increases and has to raise prices.

With a bunch of sizes of the RT660 on backorder until July, has anyone tried the Kumho V730?

One person in our region has tried them (STH car), and quote "I have 60 runs on the Falkens and 12 on the Kumhos...right now the Kumhos are the best bang for the buck as they are on par with all the current fast tires."

The one thing I have heard with the Kumho V730 is that they really come into their own after a proper heat cycle. The Falken RT660 also does better on a proper heat cycle, but it sounds like the V730 really needs it if you want the most out of them as far as ultimate grip. Again, what I heard from someone who's run a few sets of the tire on two different cars. At some point I may try them and see for myself.
