Ive had 2 sets of these on 2 Camaros and Imhave never heard of a Touring model. These are called Off Road, for whatever reason. I think for liability reasons, i guess. They sound really great. No drone and not obnoxious. Well built.
Hi.. Do you still have the GMPP exhaust? If so, is it the touring model? I have seen others that have smaller round mufflers.. do you know the difference? I'm new to these cars and any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!
All I had to do was Disconnect the Battery (I let it sit like that for a about 20-30 Min). and then I followed techsupport's thread about installing the buttons
The most nervous part for me was removing the air-bag. be very careful, because the wires aren't that long and if you tug too hard on them, it could break the SIR Coil (Clock Spring).
Before you start removing the wheel, make sure you keep the column locked (I didn't even put the key in my column until it was done).
After that I needed a T45 Torx Drive for my socket set, and just removed the steering wheel bolt that holds it to the column. With just a little pulling pressure, the wheel came off.
Reinstall was just the reverse of removing in. The Torque Spec on the Steering bolt is 22ft-lbs.
