My car: 2010 2SS, 20" rims with 245/45/20 on the front and 275/40/20 on the rear

The car still has its original Pirelli P Zero tires and they are in bad shape.

What do all of you replace your original Pirelli's with? New Pirelli's or something comparable or better?

I've been looking at General Tires, G-Max RS front and rear. Proper heat range, load ratio, are ZR tires, etc.

The only difference is of course the tread design. However, the General Tires have a higher tread wear rating. Prirelli's are something like 220 and General are in mid 300 range, I believe. So this probably tells me that the Pirelli's are softer rubber than the General's?

Do any of you run these General Tires? Or stick to original Pirelli's, or something else?

    Thanks for any insight!
