I really, really like mine. With that said, you have to know it's a different shifter, a totally different beast. It's a little louder and a lot more mechanical. If you want to keep the "plush" factor of your car intact you might not like it. When you make shifts with the Hurst it's very short but very "clicky". The reason why I like it is becuase you know when you're in gear. The stock shifter, while plush felt mushy to me. Sometimes I second guessed if I was in gear. I've heard the MGW shifter kit is a shorter throw but not as loud as the Hurst. Hit up a Member named Doc Holiday. He's a great guy and has the MGW shifter. See what he thinks of his. But if you want a very mechanical "old school" feel to your Camaro you can't go wrong with the Hurst.
no... it seems like everyone is stoked about it.. but there are a few that play around and are like ima key it... but it seems like they are just kiddin... i hope so. but nope, no real problems.
if you are looking for some flat black stripes, i ordered some expecting the matte black look but like u didnt know the difference. since my car is black there was no way i could use the flat balck stripes so i oredered more which are matte black.
hi, matte black has a texture and grayish look to it, flat black stripes have a semigloss to it and still are slightly glossy. the chrome around the bowtie is the factory chrome on it, i just put some black bowtie covers on them
