As far as that gal goes...she didn't get cited. There's no reason to make her life any more worse than it is. I heard one of the people saying that she was heading to some church function when it happened.

Oh yeah, I'm fine...LOL...it didn't bother me in the least. This is going to sound horrible, but I feel worse when I see some of our C5 member's Camaro's getting a slight scratch or a small ding. If there is anything to feel bad about, it's the fact that that gal is going to have to live with knowing she killed him. But if he was a drunk...and it sure looked like he was...then he wanted to die! And she needs to realize that if it wasn't her, it was going to be someone else. I've tried helping a drunk before...WHAT A ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME!!!

He was crossing the street on foot from North to South. He looked like a bum, and the newspaper said he was suspected of being drunk. What's weird, is that I didn't see a drop of blood anywhere. But his insides must have been toast, 'cause he looked dead when he was flying! Her right front was damaged, but not as badly as I would have expected under the circumstances. (I guess people should cross the street in the crosswalk...with the light?!)

Back on Nov. 7, around 4:20 or so, I'm driving west on Shaw right in front of Fat Jacks, when all of a sudden I hear a THUMP directly across from me to my left. As I turned I saw this guy going airborne! The way he looked flying like he was...it didn't look good. I made a quick U-turn, then pulled off onto Helm (I think it was). I got out and went over to him. He was laying face up in the gutter, but he was gone. I still checked his pulse and that, but...! Anyway, it was some gal in an SUV that took him at full speed. She never did hit her brakes according to the woman who was driving behind her. I don't know how she didn't see the guy? We were parallel to each other...I hope she didn't hit him because she was checking out my Camaro? I'm actually serious...I just started thinking about that about a week ago. To hear the lady behind her talk, I don't know how she could not have seen him...unless she had her head turned to her left looking at my Camaro. He was crossing Shaw.

Revo...how ya been? I'm doing some writing right now, but ran into a roadblock and thought I'd come over to C5 for a bit.
