the guy in that post did NOTHING wrong other than try to do his job. the person writing the post was impossible to deal with. he thought because he had a check in hand he could waltz in and out without going thru finance. finances job is to put up additional profit. your right taking care of the customer is part of it, i'll give you that. but how many cars to you have right now that you can bump or that is as hot as a camaro??
so no more bumping posts?
Actually don't have a problem with professional courtesy. Problem is screwing a customer over 5k isn't very proffessional in my humble opinion. As far as customers blaming you for everything that happens at GM, maybe if they thought you had thier best interests at heart, instead of your wallet, they would actually understand. You forget the object off sales is to help find a solution to a customers problem or needs. And as for hitting them on the survey, its simple, if your salesperson, managers, and dealership do their job, like they are suppose to, guess what? They wouldn't have to worry about the surveys. Wish you guys a great 3rd quarter, and thats no B.S. Good Luck!!
I have been in the business over 18 yrs and the last 6 were spent as a finance trainer for one of the biggest product providers in the country.
Based on that this is what I see from your posts:
I cant believe a "professional" sales person would make some of the comments you have made, such as the one about hitting them on their survey in one of the other posts. Thats crazy! WE all are having problems making the money we are use too and someone like you posting or out their doing damage is ridiculous. I have averaged over 3200.00 a copy on the ones I have sold. May not be your 10 or so but who cares. MY job and YOURS is to make the dealer principle as much as possible on each unit. PERIOD!
I personally ever heard or saw one of my sales people make thoise comments they would be unemployed!
Hopefully this ends our little issue but I'm almost positive it won't
I didn't say shit to you but you seem to have to get involved with every post, I make.
This guy is out of state of course I am going to make a better deal to someone who is willing to fly in and get a car. We now have 2 others to sell and that by no means is "giving one away" selling it at MSRP.
Hey, we werent one taking advantage of customers back when Camaro's where scarce. You dig your own grave. But what do I know, havent been in the car "18 years" and maybe they are "crying about paying for the hottest car"
