I fortunately kept the old exhaust and put it back on with the "band aid"straps you get from the auto parts store. I plan on getting them re-welded back on properly soon.

I agree with your comments on exhaust drone I dislike driving it now. Where did you get the stock exhaust? Did you just put the old one back on or go to a muffler shop?
