I chose Hotchkis for my SS because I also installed them on my previous car, a 2012 1LS camaro and loved them. Also went with a 1" drop because it doesn't decrease the life of your shocks as much.
Sometimes I go though rough surfaces and the ride does get kind of rough so if your streets are bad then getting them might not be such a good thing. Which suck because it makes the car look phenomenal.
