Its too bad you cant come. The last time i went to Oshawa for the first day of production, it was an amazing experience! Everyone was great and got to see and do a lot of neat things!
Hope to meet you some other time thrillz
Thanks for the kind words about my Dad. My camaro is about to be ordered on tuesday i had to wait till my truck lease came up. I dont expect to get it till Febuary at best but im ok with that. I was lucky enough to test drive both the V6 and the V8. There both amazing imo it was soo hard to choose which model GM did a bang up job on both of them. I can tell that you car gives you nothing but pure joy in your life which is just great.
thank you, you are so kind to me...I am sorry about your Dad too...Sucks, doesn't it???...I wish my Dad had lived long enough to get a ride in my car, but I have a feeling he's "with me in spirit" and I know your Dad is too...I know your boys must love your car...the Camaro feels like LOVE, doesn't it???...
No problem at all. Your a well respected person on these boards i think its awesome having a womens point of view on these boards makes for much better conversations imo. It sure is nice to see you having some fun back in your life. I sure can understand where your coming from. I too lost my dad this year from a 2 year battle with cancer. He bought me my first trans am back in the 80's so this is why this camaro wont be just another car to me. It has a special place for me and want to share this passion with my 2 boys. I have loved the whole process of getting this car from seeing it at the car shows to seeing the first one on a car lot to test driving one and reading about it with fun people such as yourself. See you on the boards ;o)
Thanks for your kind words...you do realize that I was not criticizing the Auto vs Manual comments that anyone has mentioned in the past (quite frequently)...I have said in other posts that I absolutely LOVED driving all the cars I've owned that were manuals, even in heavy traffic...my teenaged son tells me all the time that I am the best "stick driver" he knows...high praise indeed...I chose the auto at this point because I plan on driving this car until I die...LOL...I do not judge anyone on this forum for any comments made, I just thought that the "usual reasons" that people stereotype Auto drivers aren't always what they seem...IMHO...I feel that we are all "family" on this forum and I enjoy the camaraderie I find here...
If you've seen any of my posts, then you already know that my Dad died last yr and I've been very sick for the last 2 yrs and this Camaro and this forum has "given me my life back" and made me laugh and smile more than I thought I would ever do again!!!...
