IOM just stands for Inferno Orange Metallic. Others that you may see are SIM(Silver Ice Metallic) and IBM(Imperial Blue Metallic)

I was looking at that DIY thread too, maybe, I will finish the exhaust first. Tuesday I am having my 68 SS hood inserts put on the car, there are already powdercoated and ready to go.

Same guy, just ask to have them powder coated wet black with clear coating.
