HI -- the sequence number does not match the order in which the car was built because the sequence number includes the other GM cars coming down the assembly line at Oshawa Flex Line at the same time including Buick Regal and Cadillac XTS - they're built on the same assembly line.
Hi fbodfather....I wanted get some clarification on these production numbers if I could.
My VIN# 2G1FC1E39E9322068 with build date: 6/8/2014
I have a 2014 Black Camaro 2LT RS with black leather and navigation. That production number is 13,272, according to your listing. If grand total of 14 Camaros was 97,632, then with my VIN, then why is my last 6 digits 322068?
Does this mean that mine was the 322,068 Camaro made really or is it the 22,068 Camaro made in the 3rd production line?
I am trying to understand how the sequence numbering starts from 100001 and ends up to be 97632.
I really appreciate all of your assistance with figuring out my VIN and history.

Sir,my name is Jeremy Jelly,I believe you are aware of my situation due to my friend Brad Smith.I am the individual that broke the Trans Output Shaft in my 2010 SS at C5Fest this year.I am one of the early cars that according to alot of information, I have found had issues with this part.I have made contact with Al and he informed me last Thurs that he would assist me. While I do not want to be pushy or unappreciative,I am currently in limbo, because I have not heard anything back from Al or the GM Rep from Andy Mohr Chevrolet in Indy.If you have time,I would appreciate any help you can provide me in clarifying where we are in this process.Understand these things do not happen over night. My contact information.Military Cel: 812-552-4677 or email:jeremy.e.jelly.mil@mail.mil.I apologize for the length of this message, however I would really like to obtain resolution or at least be informed on what is going on.Thank You.
Greetings Scott, I have a question for you that I can't get answered anywhere else and figured since you helped with the 4th gens maybe you or someone you know on the team could answer this for me. Were there changes made to the harmonic balancers from the '99 V6s to the '02 V6s? and maybe you could convince GM to start producing them again so people like me can have access to replacement parts? lol thanks
Scott - I used to work at Landmark Chevrolet in Houston in 2000. You or someone from Chevy came to our dealership in 2000 since we sold more Chevrolets than any other dealership [part of the Bill Heard dealerships before they went kaput]. Do you think that was you that visited us?? It was great meeting (you?) then. DUGG
