Where do I begin? Do I take my car to the dealership, "not if it would save my life"! I purchased my Camaro with exactly 14K on the odometer. One day I'm cruising the back roads of Texas, when I noticed strange bumps and wabble around 68 mph. I did some research and found the infamous GM Service Bulletin No.: 18-NA-355 "transmission shudder'. I took the car to the dealer and the "fix" flush was done 3 times, then the correct Transmission fluid was added. It worked for a while but the issues soon returned. Back to the dealer I went. To make this less painful, "I will get to the point". They changed my torque converter, "to shut me up" it only took them 28 days, but the problem was still obvious. I ended replacing the TCM, and the issue was resolved "no dealer, no stress". I decided to get a Trifecta Tune for my car $600, then added a Go-Fast Bits DV+ turbo diverter, Westgate Turbo Actuator 14lb, MSD High Performance Ignition Coil packs and a Michimoto Cold Air Intake. I was amazed at how well this car performed, so I decided to delete the resonator "crazy how good it sounds", and I removed all of the badges, "my sleeper was born". The only badge I put on the car was the traditional "Camaro" on the sides. Everything went well for about a year. One day I was on my way to work when I noticed a rough idol and a backfire. I traced my vacuum system, changed the plugs, ohm'd out the ignition coils, and removed the cold air intake tube, then "I found oil in the tube". Then I knew what was causing the trouble and oddly "a stabilitrak light". Up until then I had been getting P015B - a generic O2 Sensor Bank 1, P0302, and P0352- both pointing to Cylinder 2. Once the oil showed up in the Cold Air intake, I figured out what it was. I ordered the Michimoto Catch Can that sells on Phastek Performance for $482.95, "but I found it on Amazon with tax for about $404. Since I am deleting the PCV system and replacing it with the Catch Cans, "I ordered the entire Cam Cover from GM Parts Direct. It never occurred me, that all of the mods increase the engine performance and increased the turbo output. The normal PCV system cannot prevent the blow-by, oil gets in the cylinders, and if I had thought about it long enough, "I would have put the catch cans one the engine long ago". My mods make my car into my sleeper, "but they also caused the side effects". I hope my troubles help you. On the 2.0 Turbo, Oil Catch Cans are a must if you are increasing the HP and manifold pressure. It only took me 6 months to realize the problem. I still refuse to go back to a dealership. Being a dealership doesn't mean they are as careful as you are. Merry Christmas!
