I really wasn't planning on buying a camaro until i had enough money to get a 2010 LT. What happened was that Papa John's was celebrating getting his original camaro that he sold to keep the business alive back by giving anyone who brings their camaro down to a Papa John's would receive a free large one topping pizza.
So me and my friend went down to the only dealership within a 50 mile radius that had an old camaro to pretend to test drive it, and go down to a Papa John's for a free pizza. Yeah I know the plan was ridiculous but it seemed like we could pull it off and we were really hungry. So when we got there, we asked if they had that camaro that we saw online (just to be sure) and they all said no. But they checked their data base anyway. Turns out that they did have it and no one even knew lol. The dealership has 35 acres of land and this car has been all the way in the back for so long that no one knew that it was there. (I probably could have stole it and they never would have noticed anything lol)
Anyway when we arrived to the back, we were all amazed. This car was in great condition, nothing wrong with it at all (except for some minor stuff that wouldn't take much to replace or clean). I fell in love with this car. So two days later I bought it from the dealership. Then I told my parents two days later. One was happy, the other not so much, but I'm really happy I got it. I love driving it around and it feels great that I actually own a car under my name for the first time.
And to think that it all started by trying to get a free pizza from Papa John's lol. I'm still hoping on getting my 2010 Camaro LT someday, but for now I got my 1985 Camaro
Check out my thread, i'll be posting up a couple of pics of my Camaro later today.
