My first camaro experiences started when i was young. My dad had a 69 z28 when he was around my age now. He tells me stories of racing other cars that just couldn't keep up. Then my brother bought his first car, a 74 type lt camaro. It had a 350 and a super t10 4 speed in it. He has had 5 other camaros since then from the second and third generations. Then came the day when i was finally able to buy my dream car. I had always wanted a brand new camaro but was never able to because production stopped before i even graduated high school. I used to stare at the camaros on the lot when i was 16 and had nothing else to do. I started working at a chevy dealership out of high school and about a year after i started there it was, A red 2001 Camaro SS. The dealer had bought it at auction and even though it was not a six peed like i wanted, I had to have it. It had black leather and t tops, and a few SLP options. it had the catback exhaust and the auburn limited slip differential and the zr1 style wheels. i loved going canyon carving and racing at the drag strip. Unfortunately a car accident which was not my fault (makes me feel worse) claimed the life of my dream car. I now have a 92 rs with a 350 and a rebuilt 700r4 but it will never replace that car. Now with great anticipation i am able to do what i never thought i was gonna ever be able to to do, buy a new camaro! Can't wait!
