Hey Guys,

I just wanted to get this info out to everyone. Camaro South Car club is hosting this event and they will post the dates next week. But it will be late March or Early April time frame. They have a 1/4 mile dragstrip and vendors along with a Camaro cruise and car show. This will continue to grow into something pretty big. I have talked with there president and he would love for all of our Club to attend. This will run from a Friday evening to Sunday and they are checking on getting good motel rates. This looks like a GREAT way to kick off our 2011 Event schedule!!! Thanks for posting this UNCCescape. Stay tuned for hotel info coming soon. And for those that are planning on attending, make sure to list weather you are going to be a driver or a spectator. Heck, I can't wait to run mine down the 1/4 mile drag strip!!! As of right now, we already have had 6 members sign up to go.

Looks like it will turn into a nice event. Limited details considering its a 3 day event but Im sure that will evolve.

Everybody that plans on going to this event needs to sign up soon so that when they name the Host Hotel we can get a block of rooms for our club. I was told only people who have signed up in advance could make a hotel reservation at the discounted rate. i know March is a good ways off, but these guys are planning hard for a major event. Have been told they will have a huge Camaro Cruise on Friday night. They are at 34 Camaro5 members already and that number is growing daily. I just wanted to let everyone know so hopefully we could all stay at the same hotel. Thats all for now.

Got a room booked now. My plans may change depending on when our annual golf trip is. Its usually in April though.

Sounds Great Jeremy!! We will defintely have to do this. When we get a final talley of who all is going from the club, we will set this up on our web site. We have 8 going right now, and I feel there will be a lot more as it gets closer. Great idea!!
