Comin out of the light on rosemont, blew the rear axle. Hear a loud pop, and then a grinding. Baby/coast it home, get under the rear passenger boot busted. Not.even 1500 miles on it... ugh

So chevy dealer says sounds like its coming straight from the rear diff. They will have it on the lift first thing in the am

That is to bad. It sounds like you broke a C/V joint, but if it is a weak diff from the factory it is much better to find out now and get a new one then have it go out later.

thats what happened. description from dealer said i broke the knuckle joint. but all is repaired and back on the road.
