I have the BA system. I went and bought new speakers locally "black Friday deal". Not sure how to hook these up. Going to get a amp later. Can any one help?

The treads on here are the best advice . Lots of members here have changed out amps and speakers some worked some didn't . If I was going to do it I'd want to do a plug n plug , no cutting the factory harness . A few of Our members have aftermarket amps /subs but not sure if they sure the plug n play harness available from vendors on here .

I've done my entire car. HD900.5, MS-8, Focal components up front, Focal 2-ways in the rear, and dynamat.

Yeah. I did everything myself. Like I said in my PM, mine is a non-BA car, and I designed the harness that ******** now sells for non-BA cars.

in the same shoes my self.I got focal front and rear with amp.on a non-BA car got a great deal but need some help with install.sub stuff is already in!

ever hear of using silver back peal and seal instead of Dynomat?

Tidewater used some stuff from the hardware store. Lots of people have done that too. It may work, but it is not made from the same material. Dynamat and other higher end sound deadeners are made from butyl. The stuff at the hardware store is made from tar.

I too have a non-BA car and designed the harness that ******** now sells. I have an extra harness at my house.

now on to the wiring deal if you simply change wire from wire to RCA then you did not lower the in put power right? for "low pas" not sure where the plug is either. and now i see i might need adapters to install the door speakers? I got the 165 a1's
so I'm thinking peal & seal for under the seats and trunk and dynamat for deck and places it may get hot? I wanted to line the entire car behind the supports against the outer skin but my not need it?

I have an extra set of door speaker wires and adapters. I did not use the wiring adapters for the rear. I just ran the signal directly from my amp.

It's true that I did not change the signal from my HU to a low level signal. But it's perfectly fine to run a high level signal over RCAs. Most amp allow high level and low level inputs. If your amp allows this, it's best not to use an LOC. When I first installed my amp, I did not have a DSP and it only had RCA inputs, but allowed/recommended using a high level input over an LOC, and the input was made via RCA.

Typically "low pass" refers to a frequency and not a voltage, so I'm not sure what you mean by a low pass plug.
