So why did you buy the car built the way you have it? Options and so on.

I have always liked the dark grey and it matches my other stuff in the driveway. I got the 1SS because I don't like leather, but it would have been nice to have some of the options that the 2SS have.

I walked into the dealership and said I wanted a Camaro, V8, and in manual. I was originally wanting Imperial Blue, but they didn't have any 2SS/RS in stock. So I took the Orange one for a drive and fell in love with it. Been going to Hooters ever since.

I knew that was the reason for orange!

As for my choice ..Ok i meant OUR choice . We both wanted the Transformer Edition but missed the order cut off date by 1 day ! I wasn't going to pay over sticker at the dealers that did have a Transformer on the lot so we went with the next best thing . 2LT/RS . Very Happy with the car .

My wife tried to surprise me for my 60th Bday, but the dealers she went to sucked. She had to confess so that I could order one.

Man do you really want me to start telling this story? Well here we go. After I had made my mine up that I was going to order a Camaro I said I wanted to stay as close as I could to the other two Camaros I had owned. They were both 1974 Type LTs. So I had to get an LT. I got the 2LT because it had the 4pack gauge set similar to what my 74 had. To get a rear spoiler on a LT you had to get the RS package. Both of my 74s had a rear spoiler so add the RS to my order. As for the color, one of my 74s was silver and the other was blue. I could say I flipped a coin but not that simple. I gust start to look at all of the colors and went down from there. Got down to the IOM and the IBM. My last three cars had all been Red and I was ready for a change. I know IOM is not red, but it was to close for me so Blue it was. Story over? NOT SO FAST! Both of my 74s had an Auto Trans and I ordered a manual. Well I did switch this back and forth but you got a LSD with the manual so that won out. Ordered the day after Thanksgiving 2008.

I had a beautiful Mustang. It was an 06, paid for with the retro 68 Shelby hood and painted silver stripes on Vista Blue. It had ram air and cold air kits. 410 gears in the rear, hurst shifter, shiney clutch, brake and gas pedals. Oh yeah....exhaust to. Plus alot of dress ups. I loved it, and, when the remamants of Ida came through on Nov 11, 2009, my husband and I were camping.

As the tides came in, daughter was home helpless. We had no idea we would flood like we did. By the time the water came into the driveway, there was absolutely nothing she could do. The lane we live on goes down hill, so by the time the water came up to the doors, the street corner would have been over daughters head. No way to get anything or anyone out but by boat. She had to watch the water enter not only my car, but hers as well. Then it came into the garage. Total in the garage was 14 inches. Needless to say, our cars were a total loss. Daughters car was a 2004 Dale Earnhardt Jr signature series where they only made 2800. You know we shed some tears.

Daughter was stuck at home for 3 days as that is how long it took the water to recede, and, us to get back home.

The mustang had been built around me and couldn't be replaced. SO.......the only thing I could think of to satisfy me was to outdo what I had. That is how I ended up with a Camaro SS and my daughter ended up with a 6 cyl Camaro!

I have to say that the Camaro is a better driver, more options and FASTER. I love it.

i knew i wanted a camaro, so i started looking on the internet about different packages and options, and narrowed it down. i was debating about v6 vs v8. i decided to go with the silver/black RS. i searched around for the car and called everybody that had one. casey chevy had one and they wanted 8,000 over msrp. found one in Philadelphia that had decals of the Phillies all over it. Found one in NC, when i called about it they said it wasn’t for sale, but it was listed for sale online. when i called they said it was a demo. So I ended up ordering it on may 30, 2009 and picked it up on august 28, 2009.

Hey Cliffordj, Casey blew me right out the door. I think it may be because I was a woman, but, they didn't want to let me test drive a car. They finally did let me drive a demo, but, then came the market adjustment.

I found my car at Holiday, and, they had NO problem with letting me drive it, and taking MSRP. Matter of fact, they worked a real deal with my daughter as a result. SO....we made it a win win. My daughter would have never been able to get one without them (Holiday) coming off of the profit. Of course they knew our story about losing our cars to flood, and, the treatment by Casey.

The funny thing was she looked at her car at Casey to.

When Holiday went to pick it up, our salesman, (who picked it up) told us that they said "this car isn't for the Strode's is it?". Of course he said - well yes it was. Too late. The DX had already been made.

I've been blown out before and probably will again. But, this one really hit them!

I needed a new car since the '99 Grand Prix GTP was 11 years old (great car!). Wanted to go back to my sports car roots. I liked the Challenger's looks but thought they were heavy, slow and over-priced. Also, my previous Mopar experience told me to stay the heck away, no matter how good it looked. Went to Beach Ford to look at Mustangs - didn't like a single one of them (I've owned several but that was a long time ago). Just outside their showroom door was a beautiful red SS with white stripes. When I looked at it and looked over at the Mustangs I just laughed. The Mustangs weren't even in the same galaxy as far as looks go. So, I must credit Ford for steering me to the SS. Thank you, Ford!!!!

So then I go to Chevy's web site. Started playing with the colors. Always did like a sports car in yellow if it was just the right tint, but they were hard to find. When I started building my own on the site with everything I wanted, I fell in love with the Rally Yellow w/black stripes. The other colors were great too but the RY just really grabbed me. Went to RK Chevy to see what they had and to test drive. They only had one Camaro on the lot, a black SS automatic. Took it for a spin - hated the automatic. After the test drive I searched the internet to see if there were any local dealerships that had the EXACT specs that I wanted and, lo and behold, Priority Chevy had it. Talked to RK and they said they could do a DX (dealer exchange) to get it. Purchased 12/8/10. The rest is history. I love this bad boy!!

had a 2008 Cobalt SS/Turbo.. fast car 320WHP and 355WTQ clutch went out at 46K miles needed to replace as i was going on deployment in a month GM had nooo parts available they were all on national back-order. so i went aftermarket jus to make the car drivable. well 12K later clutch goes again. GM wont cut me slack cause of the SPEC clutch and flywheel. i stated my case.. they gave me 2500 compensation to any new GM vehicle.. and i sure as hell wasnt getting a CRUZE.. so here i am.. Camaro... and once again in another case.. which has now been escalated to the highest echelon the field operations

I guess that now your a member its fair to say we can joke you a bit, where did you get all that extra HP, the factory says 260hp/260tq. So WHP would be down to 210?????
