What’s in a detail clinic
A clinic typically covers:
Proper washing and drying techniques to avoid swirl marks and light
scratching.
Claying to smooth the surface prior to polishing.
Helpful hints on hand polishing, glazing and waxing.
Instruction on using a random orbital polisher to remove or reduce swirl marks and light scratches. Discussion will include proper pads and product as well as what speeds to use for specific applications.
Which polish, glaze, sealant and wax to use and the differences between each product.
Interior care for vinyl and leather to keep your Camaro looking new or as close to new as possible.
Wheel, tire, weather stripping and fender well treatment.
These are just some of the topics typically discussed at a clinic. The
discussion part of the clinic usually will last 45 to 60 minutes depending on how many questions members have.
At the end of the discussion we move right into the "hands on" portion and the fun begins. Club members will be able to use all the Adam's products on their cars including clay, polish, and wax. Everyone will also have the opportunity to use the Adams Swirl Killer random orbital polishers in both 12 mm and 15 mm.
An Instructor will be there for close personal attention with the random orbital's if needed.
We'll treat the vinyl, leather, and weather stripping. We'll also work on fender wells and the engine compartment. This is really the fun part of the clinic and can last for hours.
