Planning to go to the Virginia Motorsports Park Drag Strip this Saturday for their open test and tune session from 12-5pm. Good chance to run, if you have always wanted to try out your car on the Strip. If temperatures for Saturday are predicted above 50 degrees and no chance of rain, they will be open for the session. They will usually post open or cancelled the day before. I will probably leave around 9am. Post up if you want to go and we can meet to drive up.

Anyone else? Weather looks good and may not be good next weekend, which is the last session of the year. A few other guys will be meeting us up there too.

My best was 12.3 sec at 125mph. I'm slow out launch because of tire spin. Just had my far retuned on Thursday at 654rwhp and 625wrtq.

Traction control(TC) on: 12.4sec @ 115mph, 1.9sec 60ft.
TC off: 12.7sec @ 117mph, 2.1sec 60ft.
Street tires are killing me. About lost the car a couple of times running with TC off and too hard into the throttle, which resulted in bad times not worth mentioning. Next time I go, I will have drag radials and new wheels. No more running on street tires for me.
