Anyone have the Metra dash kit or going to buy the upcoming alpine kit?

I would like to buy your original dash unit (climate controls, stereo LCD).

Have you tried looking for wrecked cars selling parts? Not that I've tried anything like that other than getting parts from Pull-a-Part, junkyard. But, we see those wrecked cars on here, they must be selling the parts. I just don't know how you get to them.

If I can ever get my hands on a SS I'll have the alpine kit.

Garbage. While changing the LEDs to different colors (see threads in DIY section), I cracked a corner on the LCD. I now have a bar across the middle of the screen that is blank. I can still use it until I find a decent priced replacement.
