I am dropping my car off this weekend to get the Quarter panels repainted due to excessive chipping primarily in front of the rear wheels.

This has made me so mad that I am seriously thinking about starting to make and sell proective film to prevent this. The area I am primarily thinking of is the rear of the rocker moldings and the area where the gills are in front of the back tires. Not looking for a commitment to buy things but is this something that you guys would be interested in? I don't want to invest money in something if there isn't a market for it so I thought I would get some input from you guys and gals!

I think the price would probrably be about 75.00 for a 4 piece kit. In comparison, the only thing I found to compare it to is about 2X as much, but does not cover the quarter panels, which is where the most visible problem seems to be on my car.

Sorry to be long winded but any input you folks have would be greatly appreciated.

I've had my car almost two years to the day. Being a daily
driver it has 30 or so chips in the paint. All but 3 or 4 are
within a 10" radius of the gills. When I noticed the 1st one
the only thing I could find was the spray invisible bra, rocker
panels and gills. The cost was steep and I had just spent all
my money for the car. I wish that would have been my first
mod. Making people see how much of a problem this is before
its to late isn't easy. I would be interested in seeing how it
looks on the car. Thought about mud flaps but don't like the
way they look and the cost by the time you have them painted
is high. Can't say what kind of a market there might be but I
would consider protection for $75 cheep.

it was the first thing I did to my car, after reading the forums and the problems with paint before I had my car, the whole front end, mirrors and gills, a bit pricey but i can see some areas that have hit the bra but not the paint

Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it. I can promise you that it will be installed on my car as soon as I get it back and the paint is cured for a few days.
If anyone else has any input feel free to chime in.

I have more problem with inconsiderate jerks dinging my doors. I wish you had protection from that.

Looking back, I wish this had been my first mod also. Once I get my bumper cover repainted it will probably be my next mod.
