Just made it home today. Our equipment shed (it was actually a cinderblocked building) was wiped out to the foundation. All the equipment for players (8 teams), cheerleaders (8 teams) and all field equipment, blocking dummies, all gone. Estimated loss of atleast $75,000. Long story on insurance, but not going there cuz it ticks me off - insurance does not cover building / equipment. If we don't raise enough $, there will not be football for us next year. I have always said it's about the kids. I'd hate to see this tragedy effect them twice in the same year and take there season away before it starts. I have some ideas and will be talking to moderators from site with ideas. Am also talking with our league president on where we stand and will give info at next meeting.
