To Recap:
I got this car new in 2019. 2.0T engine, 1LE Track Performance Package, no other options on the car.

After spending more money on tires than on gas in the first 20k miles of autocross and daily driving, I thought "that's a problem" and bought a set of 18" wheels for daily driving. The online wheel size tools said a 235/55/18 tire size probably wouldn't rub, so I ordered some Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail tires for dailying.

Long story short, A/Ts on a Camaro work GREAT. I've since completed dozens of rallycross events and taken the car on tons of adventures.

The car's currently got 124k miles on it, with zero mechanical failures. I love this thing, it's insanely fun to slide around on dirt.

The mods so far:
18" Black Rhino Boxer* wheels with a full-size spare
235/55/18 BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A tires
RallyArmor universal urethane mud flaps
Custom "2WD" stickers
Rear sway bar disconnect (just removed one of the end links)
Custom Black Widow single-exit exhaust for better clearance & flow
DIY space shuttle-inspired vinyl wrap

*Black Rhino no longer makes the Boxer in the 5x120 bolt pattern, but the 18x8.5" wheel size I'm running is the same as the base-model 18" Camaro wheels, and the tire size fits those as well.

I'll soon be posting more details on some of the above projects in this thread to keep everything easy to find.

What's next:
I'm aiming to get more involved in the American Rally Association's championship this year. Their split of classes into 4WD and 2WD means there's lots of room for unusual vehicle choices. The plan is to build the Camaro to compete and (eventually) win in 2WD.

To start building toward the stage rally rule set, it's gonna get fresh skid plates and suspension soon. All of my rallycross events have been on entirely stock 1LE suspension, but that's not enough for enduring hundreds of stage miles at full-send pace.

Let me know if you have questions about the dirt setup and stage rally! The sport's been growing a lot in the USA lately and it's been a ton of fun to attend some of the events as a spectator and volunteer so far.
