I had to remove the driver door cable wiring connector from the body, and after installation the power window / mirror switch is all dark and nothing works.

Everything else in the door works fine like trunk opening, door lock aso, but the control unit for power windows / mirrors is black, no lights or any function!

Took the plug apart but cant find anything wrong.

Anyone that can give me some advice or can help me with Door harness wiring diagram or a wiring for the door body connector?

The car is a 2018 Camaro 2SS Conv with 48000 miles.

Thank you.

I've got an annoying thing with my transmission. 89K miles on the car. Fresh fluid and filter. Converter TSB was performed at I think 10k miles.

What happens is when the car is cold, so think first start of the day, it hangs up on the 1-2 shift. You can feel it go to shift, then it stops accelerating and the rpm's rise, and then it hammers second. Rest of the gears are fine. Once it's warmed up there's no issues. If I don't come to a complete stop and then start accelerating, it'll do it then. This was happening before my tune and is happening after.

It's not every single time but it's fairly repeatable. Usually clears up after a few miles but sometimes a restart is needed to get it back in line.

Any thoughts or ideas or is this just kinda normal for the A8?

I got my car new 2022 SS and from factory the amount of force i need to press the horn is inpractical and unbalanced compared to the other placed where i can use the horn. there are 3 places where it can be used, top left, top right and bottom middle. at the bottom is feels very normal like any other car i used before. top left is slightly stiff but top right is extremely stiff and i cant rely on it on emergancy uses because a lot of times it did not go off. So is this even normal on camaros? i went to the dealership twice about this they did "re align" the airbag but nothing changed. i recently replaced my steering wheel with CF wheel and we inspected the airbag assembly and everything behind it and everything looked normal. if someone had this issue please let me know what caused it and how did it get fixed.

I have a 17 Camaro 2SS and experiencing slow/no-start issues on warm days. I replaced the battery 2 years and added an additional 0 gauge ground wire to the engine block as recommended online which helped for a few months but still having slow or no turnover (with burned rubber smell from the hood) on subsequent starts (if < 30 minutes or so).

I have read other threads about other users with similar issues that have replaced the starter with the newer GM starter which is supposedly a little better but only for the issue to occur again.

I want to take the route of a more resilient starter and was looking at the Powermaster XS Torque Starter (9509) OR MSD Dynaforce Starter - which is supposedly impervious to heat soak for even aftermarket perf/header updates which should both last longer and also prevent early battery drain/failures.

Does anyone have experience with these high torque starters with their 6th gen camaro and any downsides of utilizing these? I figure between this and the added 0 guage wiring I should be good to go long term?

So I took the cover off the car yesterday after a long winter storage, go to unlock the doors and...nothing. I thought, that's strange, car battery is good since it's been on a tender all winter and resting voltage is 12.5V. Go grab my backup FOB which has never been used, and still nothing. Now I'm thinking how the hell do I get in the car? It never occurred to me that both key FOB batteries could be dead at the same time and after only three years.

Well, that's what it was. Replaced the battery on both FOBs and doors unlocked immediately. Never had FOB batteries die so soon. Of course, my other two vehicles are older and have the old school FOBs where the batteries last 5+ years. Just thought I'd mention this in case someone else has it happen to them. I'll be changing my FOB batteries every year from now on.
