My dad was a nice guy...he's going through a rough patch...He and I aren't speaking anymore. But he always has been a great guy. We are no where near the Cedar Rapids area. Where I used to work with the FD, we always had alot of help from the police department, (my dad was one of the guys on the department). All of our guys on our FD were voulnteer, and we rarely dealt with the paid guys. We are from a VERY VERY VERY small area, soooo its alllll good.

Hope your dad is a nice guy and not around Cedar Rapids, Iowa... We tell the local CRPD that they wanted to be FF but couldent pass the FF test, So now they are cops. That and the fact that people love FF-EMT but hate cops when we arrive... What part of the state are you in? I am a pd FF on CRFD and voulinteer on Norway and Newhall as a FF- EMT.
