just like you would put a cutout on the exhaust in the old days for when you went racing, I put an electric cutout on the downpipe to reduce backpressure. It's about halfway down the DP and exits right in front of the crossmember. It's only 2.5" which is a bit smaller than the downpipe, but it allows some of the flow out before it takes that harsh bend around the AC compressor. I also cleaned up the ends of ON3s piping because they left a lot of exposed pipe that could catch air and with the turbine being a restriction, I wanted to make everything else flow as smooth as possible.

Excuse me for being a little confused, when you say downpipe cutout, what exactly does that mean?
