I'm sorry to hear your reverse is not located in a good spot. Mine is on the right side and up. I haven't had any problem with it over there but it did take me a while to get used to the new 6 speed pattern. I like it now.

Hi Bob here from Queens NY with a 2010 2LT manual. Did you know that reverse on the V6 and V8 are in totally different positions? Very disappointed with the V6 cause reverse is too close to 1st gear, up and to the left. On your v8 its to the right and down, correct? What a dumb mistake from GM.
Easy to put the car in reverse opposed to 1st. BOOOOO !!!
