I had to raise the pivot point of the wiper rod where it attaches to the bushing. Keep in mind you need to measure center to center distance so you can put the pivot point back in the stock distance amount or the wiper will go too far across the windshield. I originally was going to the Hi Ram so I cut for it first. Not as much needs to be cut for the XT because the plenum isn't as wide. I cut between the push pin holes on the fire wall.

When you installed the Edelbrock Pro Flo XT, just how much did you have to cut the firewall, and while you mentioned that the passenger windshield wiper was an easy mod, will you. please give me a bit more info?
