I did purchase and hook up a cheap wireless remote but it doesn't work well, the length of time it sends the signal screws up the viper 516l and causes it to enter a loop, playing the sound over and over :(

i saw your post but the link is not up anymore. i am curious how you hooked up the 516 unit to work remotely. You said you bought a keyless entry module. i am curious what you bought and how you hooked it up.
