Value of your 1LE just went up - clickbait to see why..
Not sure if anyone else has lost one outside of the track. But this post is more as a thank you to mine. 2 people WALKED away from this wreck with no broken bones, 10 fingers & toes. Only soreness
If you ever wondered how our cars hold up when it counts.. this guy saved my life I have no doubt. I was not paying attention activating my pdr. Normal driving doing the speed limit on back roads <Chicago forest preserve> 50mph down hill slight left hander dry roads, rainstorm all day. Took her out at midnight to cruise 3017 miles, bottom of the hill a flood of standing water - hydro planed driver side tires sent us spinning into ditch & met a tree in front & another on passenger side door, ricocheted up the ditch into the outside of the guard rail with rear bumper. On star called 911 they were there in about 3 min. I don't think much of the damage will buff out...... was on 285 & 305 michelin super sports I always drive with electronics off. Race mode stabilitrac disengaged. Never made it to the track with my gal, I hold a pro motorcycle racing license with about 60 hours on 4 wheels- time trial / trackdays rain or shine, no autox history and instruct once in awile. Not sure if I can get another or not. Have not heard back from insurance yet. Everyone enjoy yours, be safe. Damn bro, sorry for your loss!! That sucks!! Like it's already been said, at least you're alive and not seriously injured. It's cliche but the metal and plastic can be replaced.
