Yeah. The coal roller red lighted pretty bad and I was sleeping at the tree. I'll post the timeslips later this afternoon.

Drag radials are certainly a good idea. Maybe I'll try the Mickey's next spring. I think most of the bad launch was my fault though.

Thanks for watching!

Here are the timeslips to go with the videos. I'm in the right lane for both (as you can see in the video).

Your trap speeds are pretty awesome so once you get the launch down and some good 60 ft. times I think your ETs will come in where you want them. The car certainly is making the power. Good luck and happy hunting for traction and good launches (the never ending challenge for all us 6MT guys).

Did you get your engine and tune from ADM? What kind of tires are you running at the strip?

Yeah. The crate motor and a few other miscellaneous parts came from ADM. Unfortunately Andy didn't have a tune to share with me as he hadn't yet done a full LT4 swap on a 2016 Camaro, only an LT4 supercharger on an LT1. Andy shared that tune with me, but there are so many different parts on the LT4 I ended up starting from scratch with a hybrid I cooked up between a 2016 Z06 and a 2016 CTS-V. (Without the LT4 torque management coefficients on a true LT4, the drive-ability sucks.)

The tires I ran at the strip are the Michelin Pilot Super Sports I put on Friday (post #52 has details and pics).

What would you say is the total investment on your project?

I spent about $20,000 on top of the price of the car which was a little over $50,000. I hope to get about $6,000 of that back when I sell the LT1 engine. So about $64,000.

The wheels and tires were a big part of the expense, and I probably wasted at least $1,500 along the way ordering wrong parts, etc. Of course that happens when you have to figure everything out on your own.

Sorry it didn't work out better. I wish I had a more definitive answer.
Thank you for weighing!

I'm gonna go with PSS's as well... curious why you choose that size instead of the OEM 305/30 and 285/30...?

I live in the hills of WV and the potholes get pretty bad so I thought a touch more sidewall might help protect the wheels a little better. I probably would have went with 305/35 and 285/35 but I don't believe Michelin makes the PSS in a 305/35. To ensure a matching look front and back I dropped down one size for both.

I'm happy with the decision so far. When it's time for tires again I suspect I'll still go with the 295/35s and the 275/35s.

It's a blast to drive, but it's tough to stay within reason of the speed limit as fast as this thing accelerates.
