Installed new exhaust and now have cel codes

So I have recently had a exhaust installed from behind the second cats. Now I'm throwing cel codes for the afms being disconnected and reconnected. I don't have a spot to mount the afms to so they are tied up and out of the way. I have cleared the codes multiple times but still keeps coming back. Codes are P069E/P12E8/P12FD. Any help would be great or questions as I have tried just about everything. I just dont want a tune for the simple fact to turn the afms off and void the warranty.

The afm valves need to be grounded to the vehicle

You have to have the motors mounted to the valves. They check when powered on that they are functioning properly so i think they need to feel the resistance of that spring in the valve. That's why i don't understand why some aftermarket manufacturers are avoiding this. Now you have a CEL that can't even be tuned out with HP Tuners or any other tuning software. Your only option is to get another exhaust with afm valves or afm dummy mounts. Stainless Works has both options. The Range device mentioned above definitely will not do anything to help.

I'll figure out something to add some resistance in there

The same valves causing rattle in my exhaust... they suck and I hear them move every time I get in the car before starting it (I usually remote start).

I'm sure someone could make a simulator plug for them if there was enough interest. Granted if you don't disable AFM at the motor, your exhaust will probably sound pretty hollow when in V4 mode.

Those are your NPP valves causing a rattle. Was your dealer not able to fix them? I got mine fixed back around March and no rattles since.

I've found the exhaust sounds bassy and farty in v4 mode without afm valves. I prefer the valves so it gets quiet in v4 mode
