6th gen Camaro speculation?

We seem to be in a bit of a Camaro lull with knowing most of what the 2012 model is going to be. Let's speculate when everyone thinks the Gen6 will come out. I'm all for a short (five years) Gen5 model run.

I think the Gen6 will come out in the new Alpha platform in 2015. The new CTS on the Alpha platform is scheduled for the 2013 model year. So I'm going with 2015 as the first Gen6 Camaro. They'll need to keep it fresh with a new oncoming Mustang and more stringent CAFE requirements.

Well it is gonna be on the alpha platform but its gonna be smaller cause since caddy is gonna have a smaller/compact car off of the same platform. Prolly a smaller v8 engine as well prolly will keep the 3.6 and add a turbo 4 for mpg reason. Style will differ slighty since this looks so great already hard to tweak it and make it better and better looking.

Alpha-based CTS won't be a 2013 model. Probably a year or two later.

ATS, on the other hand, might be available by the end of next year...provided everything goes well...

I'd like to see a 1970-73 inspired style for the next gen.

I saw one on the Internet about a year ago. For the life of me I can not find it again. It was yellow and one door length window on both sides. It was a good mixture of Gen2 and Gen5 together.

...cool, but take some time and do something perhaps with photo shop to the closed off grill and lower valence vents...to open them up and do something...both are closed off.
