I like it, but I'll keep my 5th gen over that! Plus with new regulations, the SS will probably get a smaller (most likely the 5.7 block the trucks moved to) V8 to save on gas. I love my 6.2 too much

There is no 5.7, unfortunately. There's the 5.3 and the 6.2.

Well...I can't afford a Vette, or a CTS-V....so assuming I went with a next gen pony car, GM needs to get the look right, cause I'll be looking at Mustang or a Dodge/SRT car which is bad for GM. Barracuda anyone?

Its not really bad for GM if you skip out on the Camaro and go for a Corvette or CTS-V instead....they'd probably rather we all did it if we could.

i love the 5th Gen Camaro because of it's aggressive look.. the round shapes on this one make it look friendly and take away from the aggression.. I'm not sure how i feel about the headlights.. love the sleek thin mad shark squint look.. but it doesn't seem it would allow the lights to really pop out and dazzle.. also the front hood design makes it look like the charger with the cloud-like shape.. that's the only thing i hate about the charger(besides Dodge going along with less reliability in my mind).

I don't think it's disgusting per-se. I am getting tired of seeing cars and trucks with dis-proportioned sides (ridiculously so).

Would be nice if they could make a nicely proportioned car and get away from the 20" wheels. Corvette has a nice proportion to it - and uses 19's (IIRC).

I think if the sides were pulled down to make that design a little sleeker - it would look a lot better. That, IMO - is what the 4th gen should have looked like if GM didnt try to completely change the look of the car (e.g. - taking the 3rd gen and improving on it).

The 4th gen (yes i own one, yes i like it) is much more space-ship"ey" than the 3rd gen or the previous models before it. Too many organic lines.

You have to strike a balance to get a good design.

im referring to the red one, i think its weak, looks european, unlike a muscle car, but then again, i feel moving away from the "retro" design is a huge mistake for chevy, ford and dodge

I hope you don't mean the Code 130r.

The Chevelle should be built on the long wheel base Alpha with the CTS.

Yeah I can see your point. Well there comes a time where the retro design must be changed at some point I'm guessing?

Funny how you never used to have the severity of the gen5 rock chip problem, maybe GM should invest in a more durable paint this time around...

I'm glad I bought my 1LE before Camaros no longer look like Camaros...if this is what they will look like in the future I'll probably go to FORD.
