they still could have used the 2014 but changed the grill lol how much of the bumble bee camaro was on a stock ss? none. the front and rear fascia, the grill the paint themes, the rims. everything was changed for the bumble bee camaro, they could have used a 2014 and did the same. either way im still going to see the movie.

Exclamation Photos: Transformers 4 Camaro Previews 6th Gen 2016 Camaro?

Updated with official photos of the Transformers 4 "Concept Camaro"

We've all seen that the retro/classic Camaro in Transformers 4 will be a 1967 Camaro, but we now give you a first look at what the modern Camaro will look like, and it's like no other Camaro we've seen before.

While the Camaros in the first 3 Transformers movies were essentially production version Camaros with some unique aero parts added, the Transformers 4 Camaro will feature special bodywork - especially the front end. The entire front end is custom - from the futuristic looking LED headlights to the grille, to the front spoiler lip. The rear fenders feature an air vent and aggressive lower door character line and side skirts. The rear features vents on the hind quarters and a sporty diffuser, as well as a high spoiler.

Do any of these styling details foretell what the 6th generation 2016 Camaro will look like? Time will tell...

I love the front end. the headlights look like some ones eyes when they are mad, at least mine. Like I'm squinting in anger. I like it all but I just can't get into those taillights and rear end section. Other than that I think the car looks bada**. Overall I think it looks mean as hell! Just my .02 though.

Thanks for the pictures though. It has me thinking about a 6th gen

Good catch!

It's evident that it's a 5th gen with bodywork, though. Look at the roofline. Look at the rear quarters. Even the body line along the bottom of the doors up into the rear fender.

I don't think we have anything to worry about.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!
Looks like a Camaro got busy with an Eclipse.

Why are they ruining the classic look of the 5th gen Camaro? There are ways to make improvements (change the look) without making it look like crap.

Can't be the same guy that came up with the original 5th gen design.

Nobody Panic!!

There is no way this is 100% the 6th gen. But this is very cool and exciting stuff.

While I don't believe this is the 6th gen we are looking at here, there are a few elements that could maybe trickle over to the 6th gen perhaps? Like maybe a similar headlight design will make it to the 6th gen.

But I agree with some others when I say this looks like a concept look for the restyled 2014 5th gen...especially b/c of that narrow front grille.

My thoughts on this car:

-Love the headlights
-Don't love the big gaping mouth on the front. Don't get me wrong...a big air inlet on the front is always nice, but there needs to be more going on there. Fog lights, and some kind of front spoiler.
- The air duct on the side of the car should have been extended up higher...rest of the side looks fine as its basically 5th gen.
- Taillights are a mix of the 2014 refresh and the European tail lights. On their own I didn't like either, but combined they aren't too bad. Not completely awesome, but not bad either.

Overall, not bad. Headlights look a bit more futuristic, but the rest is no better than the 5th gen for sure.

Does nobody here realize the guy works for Audi now...?

And it's not like he's the only man on Earth capable of designing a Camaro.
