Car won't move

It was about 10 degrees this morning and I went out to go to the gym. Started my car and realized it's really cold I need some gloves. Put on the parking brake and ran inside. Came back out remove the parking brake and went to back up. Car won't move! I tried even harder and got some wheel spin but still won't move. Any thoughts? Parking brake stuck on?

Most likely the parking brake. I normally won’t set it when it’s that cold.

Did both rear wheels spin? If both, it couldn't be the parking brake.

Does the electric parking brake work on our front brakes?

If the front wheels are locked up it is entirely possible, although unlikely, the brakes froze to the rotors. Maybe play with a hair drier or heat gun or something to warm them up.

Tried heating up the garage and had a hairdryer directed at pad rotor contact area....no go. Finally had chevy send road assistance. As soon as he picked up the rear and started to pull it both front wheels popped loose. All is good again. The tow truck driver had seen this before

I had the OEM pads seize pretty good after a full detail of the car and even after I drove through some serious rain. I can't remember which it was, but I went to back my car out of the garage one day and the engine was bogging as I was feathering the clutch out and giving it gas in reverse. The car just wouldn't move. And I never set the parking brake in my garage. Took me 4-5 tries of pretty aggressive clutch let outs to pop the pads loose.

Since I've stitched to Z26 pads, I haven't noticed the pads sticking at all.

I've noticed this two or three times. The stock pads when wet and cold do stick to the rotors. Probably pad compound related. They do work on the track w/o fading slowing our 3700 lb. car so I'll take it as a fair trade off.
