Gah!! I have something very similar to what you are describing. I was certain it was coming from the passenger side rear seat. I went back there and pounded on a bunch of stuff and did not find anything that was loose. I had someone in the passenger seat and we both heard the noise. He determined it was my dashcam that is mounted on the top edge of the windshield. He thinks that when he squeezed the dash cam the noise stopped, so something internal to the dash cam was making the noise. I am not convinced by his diagnosis! I will take the dash cam out at some point and test again. I really hope it is not something in the rear seat area of the frame. I don't want the dealer disassembling that whole area!

My wife and son say it's coming from within the B-pillar area by the front passenger seatbelt mechanism.

I have a convertible and it comes from the rear passenger side only when the top is up.

Any updates on the fix?

Nope. Hoping maybe some others see this and we can get some more info to take to the dealer.

Had my trunk lid realigned at the dealer and it seemed to make the problem worse. It's gotta be in either the tonneau or the trunk lid. What's different when the top is down, as the noise goes away. I need a trunk monkey for diagnosis...lol

So glad that I'm not the only one! 2016 2SS hardtop. The jingle started a couple weeks ago and it's driving me mad. Every turtle in the road causes it, definitely coming from either the b pillar or under the trim behind it. If anyone finds a fix I would love to know.

Mine started this week. I describe it as a cricket chirping noise

Yep exactly what is sounds like to me. Wish I could figure it out. All the rattles/squeaks/etc are really turning me off of keeping my camaro long term / getting another in the future.

Rattles like this are hard to trace with out another person riding in the car. I’ve laid down in the trunk in two different cars over the years with the rear seat folded down while someone else drove to trace rattles. If it’s pretry consistent you should be able to pinpoint the area it’s coming from.

I’ve had the same thing happen to my car and took it to the dealer, the passenger bottom seat rail was lose. Dealer had to tighten back up and problems all gone

I know the thread is old but I figured out what this jingle or rattle sound is. It’s the passenger seat head rest mount. The two rods that the headrest slide up and down on are mounted in shafts that are down into the seat back and the rattle is coming from them. If I tap the seat or the headrest hard enough it makes the jingle sound. Took awhile to figure it out. I was checking everywhere else but there lol. Only problem is you have to disassemble the whole seat to get at the bars inside. I thought maybe it was just the headrest making the noise but it’s the inside part of the mounts making the noise not the headrest. Never seen any fixes or answers on this topic so figured I’d share in case people were still hearing this particular one!

Some kind of flaw in the manufacturing... just wondering if anyone else has had to do this. I'm getting tired of the little hippie with the tambourine riding around with me everywhere.
Naw...somebody probably just dropped some change behind the seat from their pockets.🙄😜

I wish it were that easy. I had my co-pilot in the car on a long trip yesterday and no jingle sound at all. I hate rattles lol!!! Makes things sound soooo cheap in my opinion. Luckily I’m the only one who has to hear it since it doesn’t happen when I have a passenger!
