My beater is a 12 year old lab that I tuck a Jackson under his collar and he comes back with a bottle of vodka.

Thanks, it doesn't look that good in person, trust me. Pictures are deceiving!

The Nissan looks more like a F-150 than a Silverado.

I also used to have a Titan, 2008 model. I can attest to the fact that the 5.6L dohc engine is a great engine. Very good low to mid-range tq. The unfortunate part is there's not much aftermarket support for it. I had basic mods done to mine, custom exhaust with factory manifolds, CAI and Bullydog GT tuner. Race weight was 5380lbs. Ran a best of 14.2 @ 96 mph. Damn thing was quick!

2010 2SS 6M Victory Red/Black (old ride)
CAI intake, Speed Engineering 1 7/8" LT's, X4 base tune, Flowmaster Outlaw axle-back.

12.6 @ 115 SAR as of 9/19/15

That is good for limited performance parts.

I had a 2005 king cab. I did Bullydog, Fram Airhog filter, airbox mod, 170* stat, auxilary trans cooler and always ran 89 midgrade or higher. I never timed it, but after I did the IAT sensor "resistor mod", it always pulled hard and crisp in any ambient temp even in 110*+ temps. It never got heatsoaked.

They were rated at 305hp during the early years. However, tests showed they were slightly downrated by Nissan and really put out around 330-340hp.

The new one is rated at 394hp, but I'm sure that's slightly downrated as well. With a tuner and 93 octane, I'm sure that thing can put down over 420+hp. Nice truck!
